For those traveling to attend the Grocery Retail for All: National Summit 2026, we have secured a room block at the Crowne Plaza Chicago West Loop for your convenience.
Please note that accommodations are self-pay. Rooms have been reserved at a preferred group rate, but attendees are responsible for booking and covering their stay.

The room block is available until May 27, 2026. After this date, any unreserved rooms will be released back to the hotel and availability cannot be guaranteed.

Air Travel
Chicago is served by two major airports:
O'Hare International Airport (ORD) – Located approximately 17 miles from downtown Chicago, with a wide range of domestic and international flights.
Midway International Airport (MDW) – Located approximately 10 miles from downtown Chicago and the closest airport to the University of Illinois Chicago, making it a convenient option for travel to the Summit.
Public Transportation:
Both airports are connected to Chicago’s public transit system via the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA):
From O’Hare (ORD): Take the CTA Blue Line directly from the airport toward Forest Park. The Blue Line serves the UIC area (UIC–Halsted station).
From Midway (MDW): Take the CTA Orange Line to downtown (Loop), then transfer to the Blue Line toward Forest Park to reach UIC.
Taxis and rideshare services are also readily available at both airports.
